Our favorite place to stay is Ashbourne, we drive up on a Saturday evening and have some tea and watch the sunset . In morning we drive to Dovedale and walk the 3 miles to Milldale stopping for a dip or two along the way, and the final stop before heading back is Polly's cottage for the best ice cream the lemon curd is out of this world.
