Wild River Campers began with a love for the outdoors, adventure, and making memories as a family.

Our journey started in a tent. We loved being close to nature and the freedom that camping gave us, but after too many cold nights, wet mornings, and packing away a soggy tent, we knew we wanted a better way to keep enjoying the lifestyle we loved. So, 14 years ago, we started our campervan journey — and we’ve never looked back.

Moving from tent camping to a campervan gave us everything we loved about being outdoors, but with more comfort, more freedom, and far less hassle. No more endless packing and unpacking, less planning, and more time to explore, travel, and make lasting memories. Over the years, we’ve travelled across the UK and Europe, enjoying the freedom that campervan life brings.

What started as a hobby, building vans for family and friends, soon grew into something more. We loved creating practical, comfortable spaces that helped others enjoy their own adventures, and from that passion, Wild River Campers was born.

Today, we help others begin or improve their campervan journey through full bespoke conversions, thoughtful upgrades, and campervan hire for those who want the freedom of van life without the commitment of owning one.

For us, it has always been about more than just vans. It’s about adventure, comfort, freedom, and helping people create memories on the road.
