Wilbur was built for family adventures — the kind with sandy feet, muddy boots, paddle boards, fishing gear, beach buckets, fire pits and, of course, the dog.
The brief was to create a practical, family-friendly campervan with everything needed for busy days outdoors and cosy evenings back at the van. It needed to include a toilet and shower, a large fridge, plenty of space to cook, an area to eat together, and enough storage for everyone’s kit.
Storage was a big part of this build. With space needed for outdoor gear, beach essentials, paddle boards, and everybody’s personal things, the layout was designed to keep family life on the road organised and easy. After a full day of exploring, Wilbur needed to feel like somewhere everyone could come back to, relax and properly unwind.
Inside, Wilbur includes a well-planned kitchen area with a two-burner hob, a large fridge, and plenty of usable space for preparing meals on the move. The dining area provides the family with a place to sit, eat, play games, and spend time together after a day outside.
For off-grid adventures, Wilbur is equipped with a solar and battery system, allowing you to travel farther and stay off-grid longer.
A hot water system provides comfort and flexibility, with hot water available for both indoor and outdoor showers — ideal for rinsing off after beach days, muddy walks, paddleboarding, or washing down the dog.
The van also includes a fixed bed, providing a comfortable place to rest without having to rearrange the whole space every night.
