The brief was ambitious: create a farmhouse-style campervan with six fixed beds, seatbelts for six, a proper kitchen area, a shower, a toilet, and enough power and water to make independent family travel feel easy. Every detail needed to work hard, while still feeling warm, homely and full of character.
At the heart of the build is a practical family layout, designed for real-life on the road. With six fixed sleeping spaces, there’s no daily bed-building or rearranging needed — everyone has their own place to rest at the end of the day. Each of the four children’s beds was designed to give them their own little space, creating cosy individual bedrooms within the van.
The conversion includes a fully equipped kitchen area with a double hob, plenty of usable workspace and electrics powerful enough to run an air fryer — because family meals on the road should still feel simple and familiar.
For off-grid living, the van was fitted with a large solar power system and battery setup, giving the family the freedom to avoid campsites and enjoy life in more remote places.
